Presentation at the Scottish Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference
Scottish Exhibition Campus
The talk highlights how the adoption of digital technology for online trade has led to a steady growth for both manufacturers and suppliers. This is best typified through DTC sales where the brand owner / manufacturer sells directly to their customers. This is combined with scalable and incremental improvements in productivity for both B2B and B2C sales of products across sectors including Food and Drink, Agriculture, Tools and Apparel. The talk will be illustrated with practical case-study examples showing how suppliers and manufacturers can select the most cost-effective tools and techniques to grow their businesses. The talk will include examples of how Brexit and the move to sustainable business models have impacted business.
